Mental Health Counselor, Limited Permit
Noni is a passionate mental health counselor with a nutrition background based in Brooklyn, NY. She has a deep love for reading tarot cards and a leisurely stroll through Prospect Park. Raised in a creative home surrounded by artists, she developed a love for old movies, jazz, and modern art, which continue to inspire her today.
From the start, Noni knew she wanted to help others. However, a college course in positive psychology led her to explore the world of mental health—where she discovered her true calling in creating spaces for people to feel truly seen and supported.
Noni holds a BS in Nutrition Studies from NYU, a minor in child psychology, and a master's in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College. Noni’s approach is person-centered, creative, and holistic. Noni supports individuals who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. She is passionate about empowering Black adults, young adults, and adolescents of color to strengthen their self-esteem.
Noni connects physical health to mental well-being, recognizing that food is a powerful tool for self-love. She is a big advocate for intuitive eating and believes that food should be a source of joy rather than stress. Noni blends her knowledge of nutrition and mental health to guide her clients toward a balanced life.

I am a Brooklyn based art therapist and licensed mental health counselor. I provide counseling services for people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, or disordered eating. I believe creativity assists the process of transformation. Art materials will always be provided however making art is not required. Mindfulness will be encouraged as well as finding the dialectic between acceptance and change.
